David Hill, Registered Principal and Branch Manager

David is a Registered Principal and Independent Financial Advisor with IFG. He is the engine that powers this firm by making his clients the top priority. David is a 20-year veteran specializing in asset allocation strategies, income distribution planning, and tax-advantaged investing and holds the Accredited Asset Management Specialist designation from The College for Financial Planning, along with a B.A. in Economics, Finance and a minor Accounting. He is a native Texan who spent much of his early career traveling, until deciding to settle down in New Mexico with his wife Jennifer, to raise their family. Outside of work, David loves spending time with his wife Jennifer and daughters Jena and Sofia. He also enjoys camping, hiking, four wheeling, and many other activities in the great outdoors.

William Davila, Advisor

William came to David Hill Financial in 2015.  He specializes in helping clients with income and tax advantage strategies, as well as college and legacy planning. William believes every person’s financial goals are unique; the best possible investment plan can only be created after carefully listening to each client. William currently holds Series 7 and 63 securities registrations, life, and health insurance license, earned a Bachelor of the Arts from New Mexico State University and is fluent in Spanish.  He has lived in New Mexico all his life and has worked in Las Cruces since 1990.  When William is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his children Damian, Jazmin, and Kai.

Sylvia Lopez, Branch Operation Manager

As an Executive Assistant at David Hill Financial, Sylvia is highly trusted by our clients and a team of advisors. Sylvia is also responsible for the day to day operations of our office so that our team of advisors focuses entirely on your financial needs. Clients of David Hill Financial often describe her as caring and
knowledgeable because she knows you personally.

As a licensed insurance specialist, she also assists David and William in finding the right life insurance needs that will best fit your insurance plan.  Prior to David Hill Financial, she brings over two decades of experience in budgeting, inventory reconciliation, and corporate management. Outside of work, Sylvia enjoys her time with her 3 boys. JJ and Diego attend school here in Las Cruces; and her eldest, Matthew, is proudly serving in the US Navy.

Daniel Taylor, Office Administrator

When you stop by David Hill Financial or give our office a call, Daniel will often be the first person to greet you. He is a professional dedicated to providing individuals, families, and businesses we work with the highest level of customer service.

 

Daniel joined the David Hill Financial Team in 2020 after relocating from his home state of Ohio. He brings a background in personal banking and mortgage lending, fields in which he worked since 2013. Outside of work Daniel is a big hockey fan and likes spending time outdoors with his wife Yarely and son Grayson.
